The Jackson Brothers were photographers in the Victorian and Edwardian periods, and operated studios in Jumbo (Middleton Junction), Oldham and Rochdale, located in the historic county of Lancashire. Excellent document! I have an old painted family portrait, with a paper note on the back. It says "JACKSON BROTHERS

CARVERS, GILDERS, AND PHOTOGRAPHERS". Are you able to date the note? It does not mention any adress, neither in Oldham nor Manchester. I can send a photograph of it by mail. Kristinn
